  • Requires plugin tell to be loaded.

Description#

  • Tell a client something at a given time or when next seen active.

Usage#

tell <nick> ?<when>? (that|to|about) <text>
  • when is optional and utilise a time via:
    • clock time in the bot's local timezone or relative using units
    • relative to now using s (seconds), m (minutes), h (hours), d (days).

Examples#

Tell MrBob to respond to that important email in 1 hour: 

@Empus | y tell MrBob in 10m to respond to that important email
 @yolk | okay, will do.

... 10 minutes passed:

 @yolk | MrBob: Empus told me to tell you to respond to that important email

Tell MsJane that Bob was looking for you... something about a fishtank, the next time she is active: 

@Empus | y tell MsJane that Bob was looking for you.. something about a fishtank
 @yolk | okay, will do.

... some time later:

@MsJane | Hi guys!
  @yolk | MrBob: Empus told me to tell you that Bob was looking for you... something about fishtank.

⚠ Limitation#

  • Only one active tell tracker can exist at a time per target client, per channel.
